Atlantic & Bermuda
his is much more interesting than just an abandoned hut! It is the old Engine house for Astor’s private railway which ran from here (where it met, but did not physicall connect to, the Bermuda Railway) to Viscount Astor’s mansion at Ferry Reach, just over a mile away on the other side of the island. The shed contains (2008) the remais of a tiny turntable and a few feet of very narrow-gauge track.
